The Newcastle office serves as the regional head office for European activities, providing financial and logistical support services to regional teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Inventory Management System (IMS) metrics to optimise stock holding against demand
- Place and manage purchase orders, including factory direct programmes
- Manage import/export declarations and customs warehouse procedures
- Liaise with vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely goods-in/out and ETA management
- Maintain inventory health: ensure data accuracy, manage cycle counting, and address redundancy
- Manage commodity code maintenance and customs compliance
- Handle product setup, maintenance, and cross-checks
- Monitor seasonal demand fluctuations and adjust logistics planning accordingly
- Support consolidation service projects and exception file management
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems
- Experience with import/export procedures and supply chain management
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Numerate, methodical, and a strong communicator
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to anticipate problems and proactively address them
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management (or equivalent education)
- Familiarity with customs and international trade regulations preferred
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus

Salary Guide: £29,000 – £31,000, plus benefits (dependent on skills and experience)
