We are partnering with a family office to hire a Portfolio / Fund Manager with strong investment management expertise. The incumbent will oversee portfolio research, asset allocation, and investment execution, while contributing to the formulation of medium- to long-term asset allocation and capital management strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine the family office’s investment strategy and asset allocation framework, covering equities, fixed income, alternative investments, digital assets, and private equity projects.
- Conduct macroeconomic and sector research, identify potential investment opportunities, and prepare investment reports and risk assessment memos.
- Manage relationships with external fund managers and custodian banks (including coordination with DBS, UBS, Julius Baer, Interactive Brokers, etc.).
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposure, and liquidity to ensure compliance with MAS regulations and internal investment guidelines.
- Participate in Investment Committee meetings, providing quantitative analysis support and asset allocation recommendations.
- Assist in developing internal investment compliance policies and governance frameworks to ensure regulatory and audit compliance.
- Track global market developments, including emerging markets, crypto assets, and technology innovation sectors.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or related disciplines (CFA / CAIA / FRM preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in investment management or asset allocation, ideally with a background in family offices, private equity, wealth management, or asset management firms.
- Strong understanding of macroeconomic analysis, asset pricing, and portfolio management.
- Familiarity with MAS regulatory framework (especially 13O / 13U schemes) and the Singapore financial market.
- Proficient in financial modeling and data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Bloomberg, Tableau).
- High integrity, confidentiality awareness, and cross-cultural communication capability.
