Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of customized IP blocks for advanced process technologies, including high-performance and low-power designs.
  • Design and optimize circuit-level IP such as standard cells, SRAM, macros, or other custom blocks.
  • Perform circuit simulation, verification, characterization, and performance analysis for developed IP.
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to guide physical implementation and improve design quality.
  • Support silicon validation, debugging, and related test circuit development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to improve IP quality, power efficiency, and reliability.
  • Contribute to automation and workflow improvements through scripting and engineering tools.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in IC circuit or custom IP design.
  • Familiarity with CMOS device fundamentals and semiconductor process technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with circuit design and simulation tools such as Virtuoso, Hspice, or related EDA tools.
  • Understanding of layout concepts, parasitic effects, and physical implementation considerations.
  • Exposure to customized IP development such as SRAM, standard cell, macro, or other circuit blocks is preferred.
  • Basic scripting skills in TCL, Python, or similar languages would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical thinking, learning ability, and interest in advanced semiconductor technologies.
