Our client is looking for an Application Support Engineer to support and maintain Finance and CISD related platforms. This role will focus on ensuring system stability, resolving technical issues, and maintaining governance and security standards across enterprise applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Finance and CISD applications, ensuring minimal system downtime.
- Maintain and support existing solutions and platform functionalities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor platform updates, patches, and releases, and implement necessary enhancements or changes.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Implement, maintain, and continuously review governance, risk, and security controls to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive measures to improve system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, infrastructure, security) to support ongoing improvements and deployments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise application support.
- Proficiency or working knowledge in technologies such as:
- Frontend/Backend: Angular, ReactJS, .NET, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET
- Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
- Integration: REST APIs, JSON
- Platforms: MS SharePoint, MS PowerPlatform
- Experience with databases and SQL: MSSQL, T‑SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers.
- Exposure to infrastructure and system environments, including AWS, Windows Server, IIS, Azure ADFS (SSO), SSL certificates, Control‑M, and Ping ID.
- Familiarity with development and collaboration tools such as Visual Studio, GitLab/GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Agile mindset, fast learner, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
