FX Product Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FX Product Manager to join our Treasury/Markets division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing the bank’s FX product suite across spot, forwards, options, and structured solutions. This role involves driving product innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting revenue growth by aligning FX offerings with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the FX product portfolio, including spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, options, and structured FX solutions.
- Identify market trends, client demand, and competitor activities to drive product strategy and innovation.
- Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Risk, and Operations teams to deliver end-to-end FX solutions.
- Ensure all FX products comply with local and international regulatory standards (e.g., MAS, HKMA, MiFID II, Dodd-Frank).
- Oversee product lifecycle management, from ideation and launch to pricing, profitability analysis, and retirement.
- Support sales teams with product knowledge, training, and marketing materials.
- Conduct product performance reviews and monitor P&L attribution.
- Enhance operational processes, documentation, and client onboarding related to FX products.
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for FX product developments, systems, and risk management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in FX product management, treasury, or markets within a bank.
- Strong knowledge of FX markets, derivatives, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with FX trading systems (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg, Murex, Calypso).
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills with ability to develop business cases and pricing models.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to partner with trading, sales, compliance, and technology..
