Accounts Executive
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Review staff expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Support GST preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with Singapore tax regulations.
- Assist with corporate tax schedules and liaise with external tax agents when required.
- Reconcile customer and vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and accounting records.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, banks, and external service providers on finance-related matters.
- Support ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Experience in invoicing, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
- Basic knowledge of GST and Singapore tax requirements.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e. g. Xero, MYOB, Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
