This role is responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing campaigns that drive awareness, learner acquisition and revenue across a diverse range of professional development products - from accessible online courses and workshops through to premium bespoke learning programmes, executive education and enterprise learning solutions. This is a strategic and hands-on marketing role requiring strong commercial acumen, excellent digital marketing expertise and experience marketing products with varying price points and customer journeys across both B2C and B2B audiences. Working closely with Product, Partnerships, Sales and Digital teams, you'll develop integrated campaigns that attract new learners, nurture prospects and build long-term engagement with D&AD's learning offer. You'll also support partner marketing activity to help grow the reach and impact of collaborative learning programmes and commercial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Development, Management & Delivery
    • Develop integrated marketing campaign strategies and plans aligned to commercial, acquisition and audience growth objectives.
    • Lead end-to-end campaign development and delivery across D&AD's learning portfolio, including online and in-person courses, bespoke training and enterprise learning solutions.
    • Create audience-led campaign strategies, messaging frameworks, channel plans and customer journeys that reflect different products, audiences and purchase cycles - from free/lower-cost open courses to high-value bespoke learning programmes.
    • Manage multiple concurrent campaigns across a diverse product portfolio, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external agencies to successfully deliver integrated campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels.
    • Work closely with the Head of Marketing Campaigns to implement campaign strategies and recommend optimisations based on customer insight, testing and performance data.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Deliver integrated digital marketing campaigns across email, paid media, social media, website, CRM and content marketing channels.
    • Manage campaign execution across marketing automation, CRM and paid media platforms, ensuring activity is delivered effectively and on schedule.
    • Work closely with CRM and digital teams and agency partners to deliver and optimise digital campaigns, improve customer journeys, segmentation and campaign effectiveness.
    • Create website content and pages to support campaigns.
    • Support audience segmentation, customer journey optimisation and marketing automation to improve campaign effectiveness.
    • Monitor campaign performance and use data and customer insights to recommend and implement ongoing improvements that maximise engagement, conversion and ROI.
  • Creative, Content & Communications
    • Lead the development of compelling messaging and content that communicate the value of D&AD learning experiences.
    • Work closely with Content, Design and Creative teams to create engaging campaign assets.
    • Ensure consistency of brand and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
  • Performance, Measurement & Commercial Impact
    • Define campaign objectives, KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned to commercial and audience growth goals.
    • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance across digital and offline channels, using data, customer insight and testing to optimise activity throughout the campaign lifecycle.
    • Deliver against agreed KPIs, including enrolments, lead generation, revenue, conversion, customer acquisition, retention and engagement.
    • Produce regular campaign reporting and post-campaign evaluations, providing clear insights and recommendations to improve future performance.
  • Partner Marketing
    • Plan and deliver co-marketing campaigns with industry partners, clients, sponsors and collaborators.
    • Develop marketing toolkits and promotional assets that enable partners to support programme recruitment.
    • Work with Partnership and Business Development teams to maximise commercial opportunities through joint campaigns.
  • Event Marketing
    • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive registrations for Learn events, working closely with Programme, Partnerships and Production teams to align activity with content, speakers and key milestones.
    • Coordinate campaign activity across digital, content, PR, social and email channels, including launches, speaker reveals and post-event follow-up, to maximise visibility, attendance and audience retention.
    • Monitor sales, registrations and engagement throughout, making recommendations to optimise performance against commercial targets.
  • Stakeholder & Project Management
    • Build strong relationships across internal teams including Product, Partnerships, Sales, Content and Creative, Digital and Operations.
    • Manage external agencies and suppliers where required.
    • Present campaign plans, results and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
