About the role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and commercial performance across D&A's Awards, Festival and events portfolio.

This is a strategic and hands-on role for a commercially minded marketer who can develop and deliver end-to-end marketing plans that build brand profile, grow audiences, increase entries, ticket sales and participation, and deliver measurable business results.

Working closely with Product, Partnerships, Sales and Digital teams, you'll develop integrated campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels, ensuring a consistent customer journey from awareness through to conversion and retention.

You’ll also play a key role in supporting partner marketing activity, maximising the value of commercial partnerships through co-marketing campaigns and collaborative promotional opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Campaign Development, Management & Delivery
  • Deliver integrated marketing campaigns that support D&A's commercial, audience growth and engagement objectives, in line with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, management and delivery of campaigns across D&A's Awards, Festival and events portfolio, from campaign development and positioning through to launch, optimisation and post-campaign evaluation.
  • Develop campaign plans, messaging, customer journeys and channel activation plans that drive awareness, consideration, conversion and repeat engagement across diverse international audiences.
  • Manage multiple concurrent campaigns across a varied portfolio of products and events, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, agency partners and suppliers to deliver integrated campaigns across digital, content, partnerships and event marketing channels.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing Campaigns to implement campaign strategies and recommend optimisations based on customer insight, testing and performance data.
  • Event Marketing
  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive registrations, ticket sales and audience engagement for D&A's Festival and wider events programme.
  • Develop audience-focused marketing plans for live, hybrid and online events, tailoring messaging and channels to different audience segments.
  • Work closely with Programme, Partnerships and Production teams to align marketing activity with event content, speakers, sponsors and key milestones.
  • Coordinate campaign activity across digital, content, PR, social media, email and partner channels to maximise event visibility and attendance.
  • Support event launches, programme announcements and speaker reveals with timely, integrated marketing activity.
  • Monitor ticket sales, registrations and audience engagement throughout campaign delivery, making recommendations to optimise performance and achieve commercial targets.
  • Deliver post-event marketing activity to maximise audience retention, content engagement and future participation.
  • Digital Marketing
  • Deliver integrated digital marketing campaigns across email, paid media, social media, website, CRM and content marketing channels
  • Manage campaign execution across marketing automation, CRM and paid media platforms, ensuring activity is delivered effectively and on schedule.
  • Work closely with CRM and digital teams and agency partners to deliver and optimise digital campaigns, improve customer journeys, segmentation and campaign effectiveness.
  • Create website content and pages to support campaigns.
  • Support audience segmentation, customer journey optimisation and marketing automation to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor campaign performance and use data and customer insights to recommend and implement ongoing improvements that maximise engagement, conversion and ROI.
  • Creative, Content & Communications
  • Lead the development of compelling campaign messaging and content tailored to different audiences.
  • Collaborate with Editorial, Design and Creative teams to produce high-quality marketing assets across digital and print for events, festivals etc.
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and tone of voice across all channels.
  • Performance, Measurement & Commercial Impact
  • Define campaign objectives, KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned to commercial and audience growth goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance across digital and offline channels, using data, customer insight and testing to optimise activity throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Deliver against agreed KPIs, including enrolments, lead generation, revenue, conversion, customer acquisition, retention and engagement.
  • Produce regular campaign reporting and post-campaign evaluations, providing clear insights and recommendations to improve future performance.
  • Partner Marketing
  • Develop and execute co-marketing campaigns with sponsors, industry partners and media partners.
  • Create marketing toolkits and activation plans that enable partners to promote D&A products effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with Partnership teams to maximise campaign reach and commercial value.
  • Stakeholder & Project Management
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams including Product, Partnerships, Sales, Content and Creative, Digital and Operations.
  • Manage external agencies and suppliers where required.
  • Present campaign plans, results and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Support other areas of the business as needed, taking on ad hoc tasks and projects that fall outside core responsibilities.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who brings

  • Significant experience in a senior marketing role delivering integrated marketing campaigns for a complex multi-product, B2B organisation
  • Strong experience marketing awards programmes, festivals, conferences, live events or large-scale audience-driven products.
  • Proven expertise across event and digital marketing including email, paid media, social media, content marketing and campaign optimisation.
  • Experience creating annual marketing plans and managing multiple complex campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience delivering revenue and audience growth targets.
  • Excellent understanding of CRM, audience segmentation and customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience working with marketing analytics and campaign reporting.
  • Strong copywriting skills, crafting clear, persuasive copy that engages the target audience and stays true to brand voice across channels.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and agency relationships.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written communication and briefing skills.
