Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing Campaigns to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across the organisation’s portfolio of products, programmes, partnerships and initiatives. This role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring marketing activity is strategically aligned, effectively prioritised and delivered to a high standard across all channels. The role is responsible for managing internal marketing specialists and external agencies across performance marketing, email, social media, content and creative delivery. Acting as the central point of campaign leadership, the Head of Marketing Campaigns will bring structure, clarity and accountability to marketing operations while enabling the organisation to deliver impactful and commercially effective campaigns at scale. This is a strategic delivery and leadership role focused on campaign orchestration, stakeholder management, prioritisation and performance rather than hands‑on channel execution.

Key Responsibilities

Translate organisational and commercial objectives into clear, audience‑focused campaign plans. Oversee campaign execution across digital, social, email, content, paid media and partner channels. Ensure campaigns are strategically aligned, insight‑led and delivered consistently across all touch points.
  • Team & Agency Leadership: Lead and coordinate a cross‑functional marketing delivery team and external partners, including performance marketing agency, Senior Email Marketing Executive, Social Media Manager, Senior Content Editor, Creative agencies and designers. Set clear priorities, workflows, timelines and expectations across all campaign activity. Drive accountability, performance and quality across internal teams and external suppliers. Foster a collaborative, proactive and solutions‑focused team culture.
  • Marketing Operations & Delivery Management: Own integrated campaign planning processes and marketing delivery workflows. Balance competing priorities across multiple products and stakeholders, ensuring focus remains on highest‑impact activity. Improve operational efficiency, campaign processes and ways of working across the marketing function. Ensure effective resource allocation and delivery planning across campaigns.
  • Creative & Content Oversight: Oversee campaign messaging, creative development and content production across all channels. Ensure campaigns are audience‑led, brand aligned and commercially effective. Provide strategic direction and feedback to agencies, creatives and channel specialists.
  • Stakeholder Management and Cross‑Functional Team Coordination: Partner with senior internal stakeholders to shape campaign priorities and delivery plans. Manage expectations and communicate campaign timelines, capacity and delivery requirements clearly. Act as a key bridge across cross‑functional teams including product owners, digital teams, leadership teams and marketing delivery functions.
  • Performance & Reporting: Drive leads, engagement, launches and conversion across campaigns. Monitor campaign effectiveness and performance against agreed KPIs. Work with channel specialists and agencies to optimise campaign outcomes and improve ROI. Provide regular reporting, insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Proven experience managing agencies, suppliers and cross‑functional marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of campaign delivery across paid media, email marketing, social media, content and creative production.
  • Excellent project management, prioritisation and operational leadership skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to align marketing activity to organisational objectives.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast‑paced and evolving environments.
  • Strategic thinker with a highly organised and delivery‑focused approach.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience marketing educational products, programmes, awards and events.
  • Experience working within matrixed or multi‑product organisations.
  • Budget management and agency procurement experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation and campaign reporting tools.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Integrated campaigns are delivered effectively, on time and with clear ownership.
  • Marketing priorities are focused, aligned and commercially impactful.
  • Internal stakeholders have confidence in campaign planning and delivery.
  • Agencies and marketing teams operate efficiently with strong accountability.
