The opportunity has arisen for a vacancy within the Social Housing Cleaning department. You will provide a high-quality front-line specialist service focusing on building safety and compliance. You will assist in maintaining and ensuring our buildings are compliant and that people living in, working in or visiting our properties are safe.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage projects and work with contractors to ensure work is being completed to a satisfactory standard.
- Work with colleagues across the Housing Service to ensure our communal areas remain safe by enforcing a zero tolerance clear landings approach.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and contractors, exhibiting tact, diplomacy, and negotiation skills.
- Use excellent written and oral communication skills to achieve defined performance targets.
Qualifications:
- Experience in building safety or compliance roles.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Additional requirements: A basic DBS check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
