An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Community Safety Team as a Community Safety Officer. This two-year fixed term contract/secondment continues until June 2028 (Ref: H7483).

Responsibilities:

  • Drive targeted interventions, analyse data and turn insights into actionable plans.
  • Lead engagement and coordinate events.
  • Support domestic abuse work and build strong links with key agencies to reduce crime, improve safety and wellbeing across Dacorum.
  • Shape policy and coordinate events with internal and external stakeholders, including Police, Fire & Rescue, Public Health and local agencies.
  • Support delivery of the Domestic Abuse Action Plan and strengthen community links to address local priorities.
  • Engage residents and collaborate with partners to influence real change.

Qualifications:

  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Enhanced DBS check (no relevant convictions).
