We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our Safe Homes Team, leading the delivery of high-impact building safety projects across our housing portfolio. This role sits at the heart of our building safety programme, with a particular focus on fire safety works within higher-risk buildings. You will take ownership of complex, high-value projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, compliantly and with a clear focus on resident outcomes.

Our work is shaped by the evolving requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022. As such, we are looking for someone who understands the regulatory landscape and can confidently apply it in practice, balancing technical compliance with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.

A key part of this role is recognising that building safety is not just about buildings, it is about people. You will lead projects in a way that reflects a strong, person-centred approach, ensuring residents and leaseholders are informed, engaged and supported throughout the lifecycle of works. We are committed to working with residents, not to them, and expect the same ethos from this role.

We are an ambitious and growing team, already recognised for our innovative and resident-focused approach to building safety. Our aim is to become exemplars within the sector, setting the standard for how building safety should be delivered in social housing. This role offers a genuine opportunity to be part of that journey and to shape how we deliver complex safety programmes moving forward.

Key responsibilities and qualities:
  • Brings strong project management experience within a compliance, construction or building safety environment
  • Has a solid understanding of fire safety principles and the wider building safety regime
  • Is confident managing high-risk, high-value programmes and holding contractors to account
  • Can translate data, risk and performance into clear, actionable insight
  • Communicates with clarity and credibility, whether engaging with residents, contractors or senior leadership
  • Shares our ambition to continuously improve and raise standards

If you are motivated by making a tangible difference, thrive in a challenging and evolving environment, and want to be part of a team that is pushing to lead the way in building safety, we would really like you to apply for this role.
