What is the opportunity? This is a newly created role within our Development Management Team, focused on coordinating Planning Performance Agreements (PPAs) for large and complex development proposals. As our PPA Coordinator, you will act as the central point of contact for projects, supporting the smooth and efficient running of the PPA process from pre‑application through to decision and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines, milestones and key deliverables.
  • Arrange and manage meetings with stakeholders.
  • Track progress against agreed timetables and identify risks or delays.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and performance data.
  • Support financial management of PPAs, including monitoring fees and invoicing.
  • Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders.

About You

You will be a highly organised and proactive individual with a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of coordinating projects, managing timelines and tracking progress.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage complex documentation accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to identify risks, solve problems and keep work on track.
  • Good IT skills and confidence working with data, systems and reporting.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.

Additional Experience

You may have experience in planning or project management, or a relevant qualification, but this is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
