The opportunity has arisen for this vacancy within the Social Housing Cleaning department. You will provide a high-quality front-line specialist service focusing on building safety and compliance. You will assist in maintaining and ensuring our buildings are compliant and that people living in, working in or visiting our properties are safe.
You will be required to successfully manage projects and work with contractors to ensure work is being completed to a satisfactory standard. You will work with colleagues across the Housing Service to ensure our communal areas remain safe by enforcing our zero tolerance clear landings approach.
The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to negotiate. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets.
A Basic DBS check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions. This is a rolling advert. Applications will be reviewed when submitted and candidates closely meeting the Person Specification will be called to interview shortly afterwards.
