Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Could you provide advice and assistance to people facing homelessness? This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Homeless Prevention and Assessment Team within an innovative Strategic Housing Service.

We are seeking a passionate individual with a drive for helping people to provide advice and assistance to people at risk of homelessness. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Homelessness Legislation, oral and written communication skills, the ability to achieve defined performance targets and experience of working with a variety of households and client groups, including those who may be vulnerable or at risk.

In this role, you would liaise with partners and other agencies to ensure applicants are able to make informed decisions and have access to the appropriate pathways and access routes into housing. You will need the ability to negotiate and identify innovative solutions to help customers reach suitable housing solutions and make determinations on Temporary Accommodation placements where necessary.

Applicants must have a driving licence that is valid in the UK. An Enhanced check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
