Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Could you provide advice and assistance to people facing homelessness?
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Homeless Prevention Team within an innovative Housing Options Service. We are seeking a passionate individual to lead the team responsible for delivering such services with emphasis on prevention of homelessness.
The successful candidate will ensure that the services are delivered in line with the Councils Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy, and associated policies.
You will ensure that the council appropriately discharges its legal obligations to people threatened with or experiencing homelessness and those in housing need.
You will also be required to establish and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders and consider opportunities to ensure effective operational management of the service and work in collaboration with other services, and senior management to ensure that services are joined up appropriately and are aligned to the achievement of the Council’s aims and objectives.
Applicants must have a driving licence that is valid in the UK.
An Enhanced check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
