Dacorum Borough Council is currently recruiting an Environmental Operative – Splash Park Warden to work at the exciting Gadebridge Splash Park in Hemel Hempstead.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective day‑to‑day operation of the facilities in Gadebridge Park.
  • Oversee public safety.
  • Conduct water quality testing.
  • Carry out regular daily duties such as cleaning, grass cutting, litter picking, and dealing with customer enquiries.
  • Maintain a high standard of public service at all times.
  • During the off‑peak season, undertake the general duties of an Environmental Operative – Team Leader (equivalent to band 7) on a Monday‑to‑Friday shift pattern.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Qualified in First Aid or willing to achieve this qualification.
  • Preferably hold a Pool Plantroom operator qualification (not essential).
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on a shift rota basis, which may include evenings, weekends.
