An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Centres Health and Safety Maintenance and Compliance Officer at Maylands and Kylna Business Centres within the Place and Enterprise Service. You will provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors to present a professional, efficient service, as well as a clean and tidy site.
Responsibilities
- The Business Centres Health and Safety Maintenance and Compliance Officer will provide a wide range of duties relating to site management and maintenance, compliance and administrative support for both Business Centres, reporting to the Business Centre Manager and working with the Business Centre team as well as collaborating with internal colleagues and external contractors.
- You will be able to work with minimal supervision and be an enthusiastic, self-starter with a flexible approach to the day-to-day challenges that arise.
- You will be required to be a key holder and be on call to open and close the centres if out of hours activity occurs or in the event of an emergency.
- The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to negotiate.
- You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a driving licence that is valid in the UK, and Business use car insurance cover.
- A Basic check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
