The opportunity has arisen for this 2-year Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship at Maylands & Kylna Business Centres within the Place & Enterprise Service.

Job Type: Full Time, 2-year Fixed Term Apprenticeship

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality service to tenants and visitors to present a professional, tidy, efficient image in appearance and surroundings, while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Provide a wide range of administrative support for both Business Centres to the Business Centre Manager and the wider team, and collaborate with other services both internal colleagues and external contractors.
  • Work with minimal supervision and be an enthusiastic, self-starter with a flexible approach to day-to-day challenges.
  • Build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors, using tact, diplomacy and effective negotiation when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to achieve defined performance targets.
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously as needed, with a proactive and professional approach.
  • Desirable: driving licence valid in the UK and business-use car insurance (not essential).

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) basic check will be undertaken to ensure the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
