Our Clean, Safe and Green Team has an exciting opportunity for Seasonal Temps to join any of our area-based teams responsible for the combined street cleansing and grounds maintenance activities throughout the Borough. You will need to be physically fit and used to working outside in all weathers. You will also need to show that you have experience of working with the public and have the ability to deal effectively with people and create and maintain working relationships.
The posts are based at the Cupid Green Depot, Redbourn Road, Hemel Hempstead and are for a 6-month period only. The deadline for applications will be midnight on the closing date shown in the advert details.
Responsibilities:- Join area-based teams responsible for combined street cleansing and grounds maintenance activities throughout the Borough.
- Physically fit and used to working outside in all weathers.
- Experience of working with the public and the ability to deal effectively with people and create and maintain working relationships.
- A basic horticultural/cleansing knowledge is desirable.
- Previous experience of working in a street care or grounds maintenance environment would be a distinct advantage.
- A basic knowledge of the operation and day-to-day maintenance of small plant and equipment would also be desirable.
- 6 months Fixed Term Contract.
