An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Community Safety Team as a Community Safety Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll drive targeted interventions, analyse data and turn it into action;
  • Lead engagement, coordinate events, support domestic abuse work, and build strong links with key agencies to reduce crime and improve safety and wellbeing across Dacorum.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders, including Police, Fire & Rescue, Public Health, and local agencies, you’ll shape policy, support delivery of the Domestic Abuse Action Plan, and strengthen community links to address local priorities.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have a driving licence valid in the UK.
  • An Enhanced check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
