The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
The opportunity has arisen for an Animal and Environmental Enforcement Officer within our busy Regulatory Services Team. The successful applicant will join a highly motivated front line specialist service focusing on environmental waste crime.
You will be required to proficiently manage your own workload as well as carrying out team related tasks when required. Engage with residents and businesses to ensure they are compliant with current waste disposal/storage requirements and legislation. You will work with colleagues across the Council and be expected to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues in external agencies.
It is vital that you have tact, diplomacy and the ability to understand criminal legal processes. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to deal with potentially difficult situations.
Applicants must have a full driving licence that is valid in the UK. A Standard check will be undertaken with the Disclosure and Barring Service to ensure that the successful candidate has no relevant convictions.
