This is an exciting opportunity to join the Planning Department’s busy Business Support Team, playing a vital role in the validation and processing of planning applications and enforcement cases from all areas of Dacorum. This key role supports our professional team of Planning Officers.

Contract: Permanent
Part‑Time: 30 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who have high standards of literacy and numeracy.
  • Previous experience working with technical planning data would be highly advantageous.
  • The role includes liaison with members of the public and professional bodies; you must therefore be able to demonstrate high levels of verbal and written skills.
  • You must also be a positive team player.
  • The level of responsibility will increase in accordance with the development of your knowledge and experience, with the potential for the most experienced to undertake planning casework.
