Role: Transit Terminal Logistics Operative

Purpose Of the Role

To adhere to established processes efficiently and within required timeframes, ensuring that operations within the TT Warehouse meet and exceed customer‑specific requirements. This includes carrying out all operational activities both as part of a team and independently within the Transit Terminal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficient movement of freight within the Transit Terminal
  • Proper loading and unloading of freight
  • Use of the correct Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for terminal activities
  • Timely and accurate damage reporting, following established procedures
  • Adherence to Health and Safety protocols, including all Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
  • Daily use of IT equipment, including scanners and computers, to perform all tasks
  • Accurate completion of all documentation related to assigned tasks
  • Timely execution of loading and unloading activities, meeting all scheduled deadlines

  • Experience in storing and retrieving heavy or high‑value goods
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
