Purpose Of the Role:

To work collaboratively within a team to coordinate warehouse production activities and support efficient, high-quality operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical management and day-to-day coordination of warehouse employees
  • Schedule team activities and allocate tasks in line with the Warehouse Shift Manager’s instructions
  • Ensure all defined warehouse processes are carried out correctly and consistently
  • Conduct daily briefings with the Warehouse Shift Manager
  • Lead and participate in team meetings as required
  • Enforce standards of order, cleanliness, and safety within the assigned warehouse area
  • Identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement and support their implementation
  • Monitor the correct and safe use of technical equipment and resources (e.g. forklifts, high-speed trucks)
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures and health and safety requirements

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Valid forklift licence (desirable)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements in a warehouse environment
  • Skilled in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and high-speed trucks safely and efficiently
  • Ability to organise work, prioritise tasks, and ensure operational targets are met
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic IT tools
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and support their implementation
