Pension ContributionGenerous Holiday AllowanceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeDiscount PlatformLife Assurance BenefitCycle To Work Scheme Purpose Of The Role: Administrative processing of all forwarding tasks in short-distance traffic Key Responsibilities: Acceptance of incoming data Notification of incoming shipments for private and commercial recipients Dispatching of drivers of local traffic (in the morning and in the evening) Receiving and recording collection orders Notification of shipments in customer portals Administration of penkeys Driver debrief on their return Control over quality of information recorded on debrief / coding accuracy Advising of all delivery and collection discrepancies ensuring the service documentation is sent to the appropriate dept/owner Correct stop allocation / haulier billing Manage telephone calls from drivers and resolve any queries on route Active tracking of Drivers Manage / allocate collections to SD drivers Responsibility on shift for inbound Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) takeover as well as other data which presents itself during the shift Responsibility for entering SD proofs of delivery into TMS / Domino system , particularly special deliveries. SD administration and prompt resolution of transport related service queries throughout the shift, with regards to other colleagues, departments & customers (emails and phone calls) To correctly administer, quote and arrange cost effective solutions for special deliveries including Channel Islands Using product control, stock count and remaining order lists to manage problem and undespatched consignments Assisting L reports (Active Reporting) To administer the daily tours and drivers folders whilst also monitoring the data quality for the tours Process cartage notes, despatch (incl. specials / 2nd tours) and chase SD proof of deliveries as per the Dachser Network Manual requirements Cartage note archive Takeover of LD standard tours & monitoring of LD despatch Unloading report administration (incl. closing) Closing of SD/LD tours including day end routine Penkey / PDA administration & maintenance Takeover & print SD standard tours for next day Manage, collect & process unprocessed cartage note positions Deal with inbound / import drivers Bookings management. Help cover holidays on the team and different shifts.
