This is an exciting opportunity for a Knowledge Lawyer with expertise in commercial litigation and arbitration to join our highly successful Commercial Disputes and Internation Arbitration group within a leading international law firm.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting key marketing and business development initiatives for the group, particularly where these draw on legal expertise, market developments and thought leadershipConnecting with the firm's Clients & Markets team to raise the group's profile internally and externally, strengthening the brand and client relationshipsIdentifying key legal and procedural developments relevant to Commercial Disputes and International Arbitration in collaboration with the Knowledge team Leading or supporting thought leadership initiatives, including the drafting and publication of articles, talks, newsletters and podcastsReviewing legal reform consultations and engaging with professional networks when considering their implications for the group and its clientsProviding technical legal support and acting as a sounding board for fee earners on complex legal and procedural issuesDelivering training for Commercial Disputes lawyers, to include working with the Talent & Development and Knowledge Management teams to identify training needs and develop appropriate programmes.

Helping the group with AI, innovation and technology to enhance efficiency, knowledge-sharing and client serviceMentoring and supervising junior colleagues Promoting a culture of excellence and effective working practicesSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEngland and Wales qualified Lawyer with ~5+ years' PQE in complex commercial disputesStrong understanding of commercial litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms Strong technical knowledge of English law and procedure, including costs and funding rulesExcellent drafting, analytical, communication, data management and IT skillsExperience in a PSL/Knowledge Lawyer role, or comparable role, would be idealExperience developing and delivering legal training programmesStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive engagement across practices and business services teamsGeneral Skills Highly organised, driven, with strong attention to detailSound judgement and decision-making skills Ability to manage own workload and work both independently and collaboratively Commercial awarenessCommitment to knowledge-sharing and best-practiceRespectful, reliable and supportive team player who reflects the firm's culture, principles and valuesAdditional InformationAs a Disability Confident Scheme employer, we're committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruitment process. xohmjla
