DAC Beachcroft’s Credit Hire and Repair team works with over 40 insurance companies and self‑insured corporates, handling all aspects of defendant credit hire dispute resolution and providing end‑to‑end solutions. This role oversees claims from small‑track to multi‑track, including fraudulent claims, liabilities, indemnities, and associated losses such as personal injury, credit repair and diminution.
Location: Birmingham / Newport (remote working available with monthly office visits)

What you will do?
- Provide timely, professional, high‑quality service to clients in managing litigated vehicle hire and damage cases.
- Handle a varied caseload of litigated work under appropriate supervision.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating knowledge and skill commensurate with experience.
- Comply with internal and external service‑level agreements.
- Record timely and accurate management information.
- Meet individual performance measures.
- Support marketing and business development activities (e.g., attending marketing events, client training, clinics, shadowing days).
Who you are
- At least 2 years of experience handling litigated motor claims and managing your own caseload.
- Experience in credit hire is essential.
- Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical skills: ability to critically evaluate evidence and construct legal arguments.
- IT proficiency: good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Commercial awareness: ability to manage a case within fee structures.
- Resilience and strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and retain knowledge.
