Are you an analytical professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality improvement? We are looking for an Audit & Risk Auditor to join our established CSG Audit & Risk Team, part of the wider CSG Operations Hub. This team plays a vital role in managing compliance, quality, and risk across the business, helping to ensure that services are delivered consistently and to the highest standards.

As an Auditor, you will work closely with colleagues across the firm to evaluate matter files against agreed criteria, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and help drive best practice across a range of business areas. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in auditing, quality management, or compliance.

About the team: The CSG Audit & Risk Team consists of 10 dedicated auditors who assess quality and compliance across the business. The team works collaboratively across all CSG functions and offers flexibility to work both remotely and from office locations when required. All audits follow a structured and consistent methodology, ensuring accuracy, objectivity, and fairness in every review.

What you will do?

  • Conduct audits and evaluations of files against agreed criteria across different service lines, products, and clients
  • Accurately record audit findings and outcomes
  • Assist in producing reports highlighting compliance levels, risks, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain audit quality and consistency
  • Coordinate audits from planning through to completion
  • Prepare audit documentation and manage audit logistics
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients throughout the audit process
  • Host audit review meetings with the wider Audit & Risk Team
  • Produce and present final audit reports
  • Lead feedback discussions with stakeholders regarding audit findings
  • Agree and monitor corrective actions to address identified issues
  • Support follow-up reviews to ensure corrective actions have been effectively implemented

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent, or at least two years' experience working in a professional environment
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organisational and workload management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
  • Previous file handling experience
  • Exposure to auditing, quality assurance, compliance, or risk management activities
