Overview
Due to continued growth driven by strong client relationships and recent client wins, DAC Beachcroft’s Casualty Injury team is looking for talented Paralegals. Our team focuses on employers’ liability and public liability claims, with claims valued up to £100k. This is your chance to work within a dynamic and supportive team, handling a diverse range of EL/PL claims.
What you will do
- Ensure claims are progressed proactively and efficiently to conclusion.
- Embrace the training and support provided to new starters, assisting in legal development and handling litigated claims.
- With support where needed, devise clear case strategies balancing commercial interests of the firm and the client.
- Ensure work meets client needs, firm’s commercial requirements, and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with other teams, building your internal network of contacts.
- Apply current technical expertise and case law to each claim while maintaining and developing knowledge through training and reading relevant publications.
- Engage with clients and support business development plans, maximizing opportunities and building rapport as an ambassador of the firm.
Who you are
- Paralegals with 0–1+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with EL/PL experience.
- Alternative backgrounds such as claimant, motor, disease, pre‑litigated defendant work, clinical negligence, or profin are also considered.
- Good organisational skills, able to work to deadlines, prioritise own workload, meet conflicting demands, and has a strong work ethic.
- Able to produce high‑standard work, with excellent attention to detail and concern for quality of service.
- Enthusiastic about joining a well‑established Casualty Injury team and seeing themselves building a future with DAC Beachcroft.
- Eager to collaborate and build lasting relationships with colleagues, becoming an integral part of a growing team.
