Join DAC Beachcroft as a Solicitor – CIR Retail and Consumer to support our market‑leading claims handling service within the Corporate Insurance & Risk team based in Leeds. This full‑time role is available on a remote basis across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a pre‑litigated and litigated case load, including MOJ Portal, Fast‑Track and Multi‑Track claims, and supervising junior colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Run a broad range of motor claims for high‑profile corporate clients, building strong, trusting relationships.
- Provide a timely, professional and high‑quality service to corporate clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Identify opportunities and deliver creative, bespoke legal solutions to support clients’ challenges.
- Support the design, build and promotion of the CIR proposition, and participate in marketing and business development activities.
- Assist with liability investigations, drafting detailed reports, pleadings, and managing procedural deadlines.
- Prepare instructions to counsel and manage CMCP engagements, including cost budgeting and compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of generalist litigation experience, with a thorough understanding of EL/PL claims.
- Excellent client‑handling and relationship‑building skills; able to take ownership and accountability.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to recognise and develop legitimate commercial opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills to critically assess factual evidence and identify key legal arguments.
- Experience working with corporate clients and representing the business at in‑person meetings.
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn to market the CIR brand and offer.
