Help shape the future of AI in a leading law firm. We are looking for a Knowledge Prompt Analyst to join our Knowledge and Information Services team and play a key role in advancing the firm's strategic use of Artificial Intelligence.

Working closely with Knowledge Lawyers, Business Technology teams and colleagues across the business, you will help translate AI capability into practical, measurable outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to sit at the intersection of legal expertise, technology and innovation, supporting colleagues to use approved AI tools confidently, responsibly and effectively.

This role is ideal for someone with a legal background and a genuine interest in generative AI who is keen to develop specialist expertise while contributing to the future delivery of legal services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the practical adoption of approved AI tools by working closely with individuals, teams and projects across the firm
  • Design, develop and refine clear, effective prompts that support business and legal workflows
  • Act as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert on the use of generative AI tools
  • Provide guidance and respond to queries, helping colleagues build confidence and capability
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops and support materials to promote effective AI usage
  • Coordinate, maintain and continually improve a central repository of prompts, use cases and user guidance
  • Support the rollout of AI initiatives across the firm, ensuring alignment with governance and best practice standards
  • Work alongside Knowledge and Technology teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements
  • Help curate and share successful use cases that demonstrate measurable business value
  • Champion the responsible, ethical and effective use of AI within a regulated professional services environment

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We're interested in candidates who can demonstrate a combination of legal understanding, analytical thinking and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies.

Essential

  • Experience using generative AI tools and creating effective prompts
  • Either a Law degree, GDL, LPC (or equivalent legal qualification), or previous experience working within a law firm
  • Strong research, information gathering and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines
  • High levels of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to take initiative
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to others
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset

Desirable

  • Experience delivering training or supporting technology adoption initiatives
  • Exposure to Knowledge Management, Legal Technology or Innovation teams
  • An interest in the governance, risk and responsible use of AI within professional services
