Join Our Dynamic Casualty Injury Team! Due to ongoing client wins and impressive growth, DAC Beachcroft's Casualty Injury team is looking to recruit a talented Paralegal. Whether you are an experienced Paralegal or new to Defendant Personal Injury work, we have this exciting opportunity for you. Our team focuses on employers' liability, public liability, products, and care claims, handling cases of all values. You will manage your own case lead and assist the team with more complex/higher value claims.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Paralegal ready to focus on their career, develop technical expertise in EL/PL personal injury claims, understand litigation processes, enhance time‑management skills, and build valuable legal connections. DAC Beachcroft offers flexibility to work either in‑office or hybrid.

What you will do?

  • Effectively run files to ensure deadlines are met and cases are managed proactively to conclusion.
  • Ensure work meets client needs, commercial requirements, and quality standards, including adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and protocols.
  • Achieve agreed financial targets, prompt billing, and collection of WIP and disbursements.
  • Provide prompt and accurate management information.
  • Devising a clear case strategy that balances commercial interests of both firm and client.
  • Apply appropriate technical expertise and case law.
  • Effectively manage risk and compliance issues, escalating emerging problems to Supervisor.
  • Engage with clients to maximise opportunities and build rapport, acting as an ambassador of the firm.
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge through training and reading publications.

Who you are

  • Paralegal with 1 or more years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with EL/PL experience; alternative backgrounds such as disease, pre‑litigated defendant work, clinical negligence, profin are welcome.
  • Enthusiastic about joining a well‑established Casualty Injury team and building a future with DAC Beachcroft.
  • Good organisational skills, able to work to deadlines, prioritise workload, meet conflicting demands, and has a strong work ethic.
  • Produces high‑standard work with excellent attention to detail and concern for quality of service.
  • Eager to collaborate, build lasting relationships with colleagues, and become integral to a growing team.
