Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Paralegal to join CSG as part of our Motor Injury team. Our clients are leading names in the UK insurance industry and our specialist teams deal with all aspects of defendant litigation for both insurers and corporate clients. The Motor Injury team deals specifically with motor injury claims of all values and complexities. We have a progressive approach and a market‑leading reputation for not just simply tackling litigation, but also for tracking and analysing behaviours and trends with a view to providing our clients with bespoke strategies and analysis of changing market behaviours.

What you will do

  • Be responsible for a varied caseload of litigated or pre‑litigated work with an appropriate level of supervision
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge through attendance at training sessions and reading appropriate publications
  • To hit individual financial targets (which are set based upon work type, charging basis and experience)
  • Support marketing and business development activity within the team (e.g. attending marketing events, client training, clinics and shadowing days)

Who you are

  • Have previous Paralegal experience – Motor Injury / Personal Injury / Insurance Litigation is preferred
  • Be IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Able to critically examine factual evidence and identify what is not right or out of the ordinary
  • Be organised and able to handle multiple demands and deadlines simultaneously
  • Able to communicate confidently orally and in writing at all levels
  • Demonstrate alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive)
