We are seeking two dynamic and commercially minded Corporate Development Managers to join our Corporate Insurance & Risk function. This is a pivotal role in shaping, executing, and delivering strategic initiatives that further strengthen our position as sector leaders in the delivery of claims handling, litigation and regulatory solutions to the corporate sector.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, and reporting to the Corporate Development Director, you will lead and support business development opportunities that will drive disciplined growth—particularly within key sectors of Retail, Transport & Logistics, Construction Infrastructure & Utilities, Manufacturing, and Leisure & Hospitality.
What you will do?
- Support analysis, planning, and delivery of corporate development initiatives within designated sectors, to provide strategic growth;
- Support the development and execution of the Corporate Insurance & Risk strategy to align with business objectives;
- Undertake market, competitor, and portfolio analysis—particularly within the defined sectors;
- Drive cross-functional project delivery, working with Client Account Managers, and external partners;
- Evaluate opportunities to inform the sales pipeline of opportunities across Corporate Insurance & Risk;
- Prepare high‑quality reports, business cases, and presentations for executive-level decision-making;
- Monitor sector trends and provide strategic insight to inform future planning and potential partnerships.
Who you are
- Proven experience in insurance either as a broker, insurance manager, or within business development is desirable but not essential;
- Strong understanding of the Retail and/or Transport & Logistics sectors is desirable;
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight;
- Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders at all levels;
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and driving tangible outcomes.
