Description
Are you a Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer, or an Experienced Paralegal ready to take your career to the next level? We’re expanding our market-leading Fraud team within CSG and looking for passionate legal professionals to be part of something exceptional, specifically within our Motor Fraud team.
Our Fraud team is a multi-award-winning powerhouse, known for its bold and proactive approach to defending complex insurance fraud claims. From pre-litigation to high-stakes litigation, we tackle technical cases and work closely with clients and law enforcement agencies to disrupt organised fraud networks.
As part of the Motor Fraud team, you’ll manage claims involving dishonest or criminal activity in motor insurance—such as staged accidents, exaggerated injuries, false vehicle damage, and inflated hire or repair costs. These cases often involve individuals, organised crime groups, or professionals within the claims supply chain.
If you're passionate about making a real impact in fraud prevention and want to work with a respected, collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you.
What you will do?
- Our team manages a broad and challenging caseload of suspected fraudulent claims, acting on behalf of major UK insurers.
- Your work will involve investigating and defending against a wide spectrum of fraud types—from opportunistic individual claims to complex, organised fraud rings.
- You’ll play a key role in identifying fraud indicators, developing case strategies, and delivering commercially focused legal advice that supports our clients’ anti-fraud objectives.
- You will take ownership of a caseload of predominantly litigated claims, all with fraud concerns.
- You’ll work across multiple clients under Delegated and Non-Delegated authority agreements, with the support of experienced leaders.
- Manage fraud-focused claims with autonomy and precision.
- Be a trusted point of contact for clients.
- Meeting billing, time recording budgets and KPIs.
- Stay sharp with ongoing technical and regulatory development.
Who you are
We’re looking for Solicitors, CILEX Lawyers or Experienced Paralegals who:
- Have litigation experience within personal injury or similar area.
- Understand the Civil Procedure Rules.
- Are confident communicators and skilled negotiators.
- Think laterally and analytically.
- Work independently and collaboratively.
- Bring a commercial mindset to legal challenges.
- Align with our cultural principles: Clear, Creative, Determined, Supportive.
Fraud experience is a bonus—but not essential. We’ll provide full training to help you succeed in defending complex insurance claims.
What's in it for you?
- High levels of flexibility and a great work life balance.
- A well-rounded remuneration package (which includes private medical insurance, income protection insurance and discounted gym membership, amongst many other benefits).
- Opportunities for growth and progression including professional funding.
- In person and remote social events.
- Opportunity to get involved in a range of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities.
We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, which aligns closely to our cultural principles (Determined, Clear, Creative and Supportive). If you are excited about this role and being part of our culture, but your past experience does not align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles!
