Description

The Client Payments Assistant will work as part of a very busy team and be responsible for playing a part in transactional processes, and maintaining SAR compliance.

A typical day will involve high volume processing and liaising with partners and fee earners and resolving queries.

Responsibilities

  • TT Payments– Client Accounts
  • Incoming Receipt posting
  • Client account cheque checking and production
  • Ensuring that the client transactions are posted in a timely manner and in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Interest calculations
  • Cash Management
  • Querying outstanding items with a view to correct allocation
  • To undertake any other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

  • Solicitors Account Rules knowledge (desirable)
  • An ability to communicate effectively and to build strong working relationships with both team members and internal clients
  • Ability to respond speedily and accurately to both internal and external customers’ demands in a confident, efficient manner
  • IT literate
  • Flexibility with regard to hours and travel
  • You will need to be accurate and organised with a good eye for detail
