Description
The Client Payments Assistant will work as part of a very busy team and be responsible for playing a part in transactional processes, and maintaining SAR compliance.
A typical day will involve high volume processing and liaising with partners and fee earners and resolving queries.
Responsibilities
- TT Payments– Client Accounts
- Incoming Receipt posting
- Client account cheque checking and production
- Ensuring that the client transactions are posted in a timely manner and in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Interest calculations
- Cash Management
- Querying outstanding items with a view to correct allocation
- To undertake any other ad hoc duties as required
Qualifications
- Solicitors Account Rules knowledge (desirable)
- An ability to communicate effectively and to build strong working relationships with both team members and internal clients
- Ability to respond speedily and accurately to both internal and external customers’ demands in a confident, efficient manner
- IT literate
- Flexibility with regard to hours and travel
- You will need to be accurate and organised with a good eye for detail
Good level of education or equivalent work
