The team manages claims related to easements, restrictive covenants, rights to light, defective titles, and planning and building regulation issues, dealing with a range from neighbor disputes to complex litigation. The team emphasizes alternative dispute resolution techniques, including mediation. The team is based in Bristol, ranked Tier 1 in Legal 500 and Chambers, comprising commercial litigation, professional negligence, and a leading claims handling unit, DAC Beachcroft Specialist Claims Services, handling thousands of claims for London Market Insurers. This role involves handling legal indemnity claims and assisting panel solicitors, with delegated authority for claims up to £25k, and reporting to insurers for higher values. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload, developing knowledge of property, insurance law, and civil procedures.
