Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute regional sales strategy for design & engineering services with focus on mechanical & manufacturing engineering, smart manufacturing, product design & engineering, and digital twins.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team across key European geographies.
- Drive multi-million-euro deals by engaging with CXO-level decision-makers and building compelling business cases.
- Develop strong relationships with Manufacturers, Automotive OEMs & suppliers, and system integrators.
- Collaborate closely with delivery, pre-sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of capabilities with customer requirements.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, bringing insights on sustainability, cost optimization, and innovation in design and manufacturing.
- Report regularly on sales pipeline, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Requirements
- Years of experience in B2B sales, with at least years in a senior leadership role within engineering or manufacturing services.
- Proven success in closing large, complex deals (EUR M+), preferably across multiple countries in Europe.
- Solid client network in at least two of the following: automotive OEMs / Tier-1s, FMCG majors, or energy multinationals.
- Deep understanding of mechanical engineering, Industry 4.0, digital thread, and smart manufacturing technologies.
- Strong cross-cultural communication and team leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, with an MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
- Exposure to digital product lifecycle solutions, PLM, simulation, and factory automation platforms.
