• 10+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role and 8+ within the Healthcare domain

Mandatory Skills

• Well-versed with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency in computer databases, statistical applications, and Healthcare programs
• Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning, warehouse management)
• Expertise in requirement gathering, analysis, development, and testing of business applications
• Efficient in creating process data flow diagrams, system development, maintenance and support
• Ability to present business functionalities to clients or stakeholders
• Ability to give demos to stakeholders to familiarize them with the product and provide roadmap insights
• Ability to prepare process documents and use case diagrams for development and quality control
• Ability to gather requirements from clients and document them
• Ability to interact with clients during various stages of the project life cycle
• Experience in creating software requirement documents and change request documents
• Work closely with developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

Required Skills/Abilities

• Extensive knowledge of the Healthcare IT domain
• Experience with implementation across clinical and administrative functions (e.g., HER, Patient Portal)
• Experience with medical billing, insurance, and denial management
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Process Skills

• Understand business requirements
• Document expected changes and review with all project stakeholders

Education

• NY Graduation
• Previous experience in the Healthcare field required
• Preferably HIPAA Certified
