Role : Java Developer (Blockchain) Type : Contract Location : London, UK (Hybrid) Roles and Responsibilities Backend Engineering * Design and develop enterprise-grade backend services using Java. * Build APIs and microservices supporting digital asset products. * Develop scalable and resilient systems aligned with banking standards. * Ensure high availability, security, performance, and maintainability. Blockchain Development * Implement blockchain-related business logic and workflows. * Develop components supporting: * Smart contract interactions * Minting and burning processes * Asset transfer flows * Wallet management capabilities * Integrate external blockchain networks into client digital asset ecosystem. Platform Integration * Build integrations with digital asset custody and wallet providers. * Develop connectivity with blockchain infrastructure and third-party services. * Collaborate on SaaS blockchain platform implementation initiatives. Security & Reliability * Follow secure coding and software engineering best practices. * Participate in architecture reviews and technical design discussions. * Contribute to operational readiness and production support activities. * Support compliance, audit, and security requirements. Collaboration * Work within cross-functional agile teams. * Partner with Architects, DevOps Engineers, Security Specialists, Product Owners, and Blockchain Operations professionals. * Support technical mentoring and knowledge sharing across engineering teams
