D7 Recruitment is currently recruiting a Health & Safety Consultant / Fire Risk Assessor on behalf of our client, a growing UK-based construction consultancy supporting a variety of clients across sectors.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site inspections, audits, and compliance assessments, producing clear and practical reports.
  • Complete fire risk assessments across a range of building types in line with PAS 79 and relevant legislation.
  • Prepare Pre-Construction Information packs and Health & Safety Files for construction projects.
  • Support clients with health and safety compliance, including developing action plans and recommending practical improvements.
  • Provide competent, pragmatic advice to clients, contractors, and designers.
  • Contribute to internal projects, policy reviews, and the development of compliance tools, templates, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate project records and support continuous improvement within the team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a health and safety consultancy or client-side advisory role.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
  • Fire risk assessment experience (accreditation such as IFE, IFSM, or FPA is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations.
  • Strong understanding of how a consultancy works.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage workload independently.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the country.
