Health & Safety Manager
D7 Recruitment is partnering with a growing engineering and distribution business to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager.
This is a hands-on, visible and client-facing role supporting engineering and service teams across customer sites throughout the UK.
The Role
- Provide practical H&S advice across client sites.
- Drive consistent H&S standards and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Support RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
- Ensure contractor and site documentation is in place.
- Coach and influence managers and employees.
- Monitor H&S performance and drive improvements.
- Support training and behavioural safety initiatives.
- Improve and standardise H&S systems and processes.
- Produce reports and improvement actions.
- Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Travel regularly to client sites across the UK.
What We're Looking For
- H&S experience within an operational environment.
- Engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical services background.
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- IOSH membership.
- Experience with CDM.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence working with operational teams, contractors and clients.
- Practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel.
