D7 Recruitment are actively seeking a seasoned Training Professional with managerial experience to manage and grow a successful training business in West Yorkshire. Part of a fast growing HSE Consultancy, the business offers a wide range of Health and Safety focused training courses – NEBOSH, IOSH, and the like. The Training Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality Health & Safety training services to existing and new clients, while ensuring compliance with current legislation and awarding body requirements. The Training Manager will manage the growth of the Training Division by driving continuous improvement in training standards, client satisfaction, and commercial performance. You will have the support of an established business - marketing, administration, finance and accounts etc - and a social media and online platform to build from.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Develop and implement the training strategy in line with business objectives and Health & Safety legislation.
- Provide oversight of all Training development and delivery, ensuring all training materials are current, engaging and compliant.
- Monitor the quality of training sessions and client feedback to drive continuous improvements.
- Supervise and monitor the work of the Training Team, ensuring accurate training records, certification, and documentation.
- Support the Commercial, Consultancy and Solutions Divisions with technical training expertise.
- Upscale the Training Division by building strong relations with new and existing clients, working closely to understand training needs and provide bespoke solutions where required.
- Handle escalated client feedback or complaints relating to training delivery, service or administration, as appropriate.
- Manage training schedules, resourcing requirements, and trainer utilisation.
- Contribute to the growth of the Training Division via service expansion, competitive research, pricing and course development.
- Monitor and consistently achieve Delivery Results, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and overall client experience.
Requirements & Desired Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Training Manager or similar role.
- Background and/or understanding in Health & Safety training and legislation requirements.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Training qualification (e.g. PTLLS, AET, IOSH TTT or equivalent).
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
