QHSE Manager
We're recruiting for an experienced QHSE Manager to join a growing engineering and automation business.
This is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality function, driving compliance, leading a positive culture change, and embedding best practice across the business.
The Role
As QHSE Manager, you'll be responsible for leading all aspects of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality across the business.
Working closely with senior leadership, project managers and customers, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, maintain ISO management systems, and continuously improve HSEQ performance.
Your responsibilities will include
- Taking ownership of the HSEQ management systems and driving continuous improvement.
- Leading the company's health and safety strategy and promoting a positive safety culture across the business.
- Managing ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance, including internal and external audits.
- Preparing and reviewing RAMS, permits to work and project H&S documentation.
- Supporting engineering and installation teams throughout project delivery, carrying out site inspections and audits.
- Investigating incidents, implementing corrective actions and monitoring HSEQ KPIs.
- Delivering H&S training, toolbox talks and coaching managers on their responsibilities.
- Building strong relationships with customers and acting as the lead HSEQ representative on client projects.
About You
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
- IOSH Membership (Tech, Grad or Chartered).
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automation or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and ISO management systems.
- Experience producing and reviewing RAMS.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
