D7 are working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading Environmental Health consultancies to strengthen their nationwide auditing team with the appointment of three Food Safety & HSE Consultants across the Lincolnshire, East Midlands, and South West regions. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected organisation working with a diverse portfolio of clients including schools, universities, NHS facilities, and leading names in the catering and hospitality sectors, supporting compliance across environmental health and health & safety management frameworks.
We are seeking Food Safety & HSE Consultants to deliver pre-scheduled audits and provide clear, practical guidance based on findings and best practice. You will join a well-established nationwide team, working in a flexible home-based role with regular regional site visits. This position combines technical expertise with strong client service, requiring accurate, high-quality audit reporting and a professional approach to client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Environmental Health & Safety audits across a range of client sites within your region
- Produce accurate, high-quality audit reports within agreed timescales
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure efficient planning and delivery of audits
- Meet quality standards
- Provide clear, professional client feedback, including compliance insights and practical remediation guidance
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards across all client interactions
- BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health (CIEH or REHIS accredited qualification required)
- Strong understanding of Environmental Health, Food Safety, and HSE compliance frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent report writing ability
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Confident IT skills and ability to work with reporting systems
- DBS and/or security clearance checks will be required for this role
- Fully remote working with regional site travel
