We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‐on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
Qualifications Required
- GCSEs at A–C or 4–9, or equivalent.
- Maths and English at Level 2 or higher are preferred, but can be provided as part of the course.
- For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
Training to be Provided
- Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
Key Duties
- Support the day‐to‐day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
- Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
- Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
- Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
