We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
Qualifications Required:
- GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
- For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
Training Provided:
- Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
Future Prospects:
This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Training Details:
Your training will take place in store, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period you will complete a discussion around your experiences, a multiple-choice test and an observation within your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your assessor to achieve your Retail level 2 Apprenticeship.
