D4P is a growing print, design and signage business based in Canvey Island, Essex, committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We're creating a brand-new Account Handler & Estimator role to strengthen our customer service, sales support, and project coordination — a great opportunity for an organised, commercially minded person to play a key part in our continued growth.
The Role
As Account Handler & Estimator, you'll be the primary point of contact for many of our clients — managing enquiries, producing accurate quotations, coordinating projects from brief to delivery, and making sure every customer has a smooth, positive experience with D4P.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Enquiries & Sales Support
- Manage inbound sales calls and respond to enquiries across all channels (phone, WhatsApp, web chat, walk-ins)
- Act as the first point of contact for new customers and clients
- Spot opportunities to grow existing accounts and promote our full range of products and services
- Upsell where appropriate, while working within the customer's budget
Estimating & Quotations
- Produce accurate, timely quotations for customer projects
- Input and maintain quotes and pricing records on Accura
- Follow up on quotations within agreed timeframes
Project Coordination
- Book jobs onto the system and produce detailed job sheets
- Liaise with the Head of Design to assign briefs and manage workflow
- Keep customers updated on project progress
- Coordinate between clients, designers, suppliers and installation teams so projects run smoothly
- Monitor progress and resolve issues as they arise
Installation & Delivery
- Liaise with fitters and coordinate installation schedules
- Manage quick-return jobs and online orders
Customer Relationships
- Keep client details up to date in the CRM
- Carry out post-delivery follow-up calls to check satisfaction
- Handle customer queries promptly and professionally
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in an Account Handler, Account Manager, Estimator or similar customer-facing commercial role
- Experience producing quotations and managing pricing
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Well organised, with great attention to detail
- Confident with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Desirable
- Experience in a similar sector to the design, printing & signage sector (though not essential)
- Knowledge of design, print, signage, manufacturing or installation processes
- Experience coordinating suppliers, designers and installation teams

Salary & Benefits
