Pear Tree is expanding into the United Kingdom and we're looking for a driven, commercially minded Account Executive to help accelerate our growth.
This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage, work directly with the founders, and play a key role in building Pear Tree's presence across the UK market.

The Role
As one of Pear Tree's first commercial hires in the UK, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the sales process from initial conversation through to close, and building long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
You'll benefit from inbound opportunities generated through our marketing, referral, and partnership channels, while also proactively creating your own pipeline through outbound prospecting and relationship building.
This role is ideal for a high-performing Account Executive who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a growth environment, and wants to have a genuine impact on the success of a business entering a new market.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Convert inbound enquiries into long-term client partnerships
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach and networking
- Build relationships with founders, executives, and business owners across the UK
- Conduct discovery meetings and present tailored workforce solutions
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools and sales processes
- Collaborate closely with the founders on go-to-market strategy and market insights
- Represent Pear Tree within the UK business community and relevant industry networks
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

- Proven experience in a B2B Account Executive, Business Development, or Sales role
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Confidence engaging with founders, executives, and senior decision-makers
- Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment
- Experience selling recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, HR, Saa S, or professional services solutions is highly regarded
